About Impact Testing Machine

Our Impact Testing Machine is a superb machine designed to measure the impact on materials. It features a pendulum that is mounted on anti-friction bearings. The machine has two starting positions –the upper one for Charpy and the lower one for Izod testings. When released, the pendulum swings down to break the specimen and the energy absorbed in the process is measured as the difference between the heights of drop before the point rupture of the test specimen. The reading is done from the maximum pointer position on the dial scale. Impact Testing Machine features two strikers and one combined anvil available for fitting into the pendulum and at the base of the machine for Izod and Charpy tests respectively.
